What It Entails
Underfoot Excellence
For new floors we acclimatize every board in your home, level what lies beneath, and lay oak, walnut or ash in plank, herringbone or parquet — glued, nailed or floating as the building demands. Stairs, thresholds and vents are detailed to match.
For existing floors we sand with dust-contained equipment through progressive grits, repair damaged boards with reclaimed matches, then finish in matte lacquer or natural oil. Most clients barely recognize their own hallway.

Questions
Flooring Queries
Oil looks and feels natural and spot-repairs invisibly; lacquer resists scratches and needs less upkeep. Kitchens and halls usually get lacquer, bedrooms oil. We finish samples on your own boards first.
Far less than you fear. Our sanders extract at the head and we seal the work zone; a final tack and air scrub leave the house clean. Most families stay home throughout.
Sanding and refinishing runs $4–$7 per square foot; new hardwood laid and finished $12–$22 depending on species and pattern. Herringbone adds roughly 30%.
